The Kids Are Alright
This year, our Teen Events Team made a remarkable impact in the
community. A dedicated group of 41 volunteers contributed 220 hours
to support children’s programs, assist with family events, and lead various
community initiatives.
Their efforts in fostering intergenerational connections and building a
stronger community were recognized with the Ontario Public Library
Association’s Advocacy in Action Award for Excellence in Children’s or
Teen’s Services—a prestigious honour celebrating outstanding service and
advocacy in youth programming.
