Power in Partnership
Throughout the year, we collaborated with a variety of community
organizations to deliver meaningful programs and events. One standout
was the inaugural Black Talk event, created in partnership with Textile.
This event showcased the library’s role as a supportive hub for
community-led initiatives. While our partners at Textile led the vision,
planning, and branding, the library contributed through marketing,
logistics, and hosting support—demonstrating the power of shared
expertise in bringing impactful events to life.
I have always loved the library and I feel like your
space is so well-spaced and decorated for the
young audience. Also encourages the kids to love
reading and appreciate books. Keep up the good
work and I actually love coming to the Waterloo
[Public] Library to relax mentally and the staff are
friendly.
