you. Your creativity, passion, and
dedication to the craft of writing
are inspiring. It takes courage and
e昀昀ort to share your work, and we
are grateful for the opportunity to
read and celebrate your unique
voices.
Congratulations again to all of this
year’s winners!
We must also give a huge shoutout to our Teen Events Team –
without whom our teen programs
and events would not be possible
– and, of course, our dedicated
sta昀昀 coordinators, Ikhlas Hussain
and Claire MacFarlane.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Now in its 昀椀fth iteration, WPL’s
Teen Writing Contest is something
we look forward to every year.
Participation continues to grow
year after year, which truly
highlights the importance of youth
expression in our community. It
never ceases to amaze us how
much creative talent there is right
here in Waterloo Region, and it is
always a di昀케cult task to choose
the winners among the plethora of
amazing original works of poetry
and short stories submitted.
